Sandra M. Johnson, MD, FAAD
Sandra Marchese Johnson received her certification from the American Board of Dermatology in 2000. She was raised in northeast Ohio, graduating from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in 1996. After residency at UAMS, she served as the UAMS Director of Dermatology Clinical Trials and supervisor of cosmetic training for dermatology residents. She has co-patented a novel treatment for warts, co-authored a book about warts, participated in more than 20 clinical trials, and published more than 35 scientific articles. She enjoys interacting with the media, both locally and nationally. She has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Shape, Prevention, Parents, and Good Housekeeping. Dr. Sandy currently serves on the Board of the Fort Smith Chamber of Commerce. She is a past president of the Arkansas Dermatologic Society. She is on the editorial board for the Journal of the Arkansas Medical Society and Practical Dermatology.
She is the 2012 Shining Star recipient from the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Sandy is a graduate of Leadership Fort Smith and is 2013 Leadership Fort Smith Health Care Award. She serves on the board for the Fort Smith Chamber of Commerce. She serves on the board of Visitors for the University of Arkansas Fort Smith. She is the fundraising chair for the Bell Park Foundation. She is the dermatologist for the University of Arkansas at Ft Smith Athletic Department. She has also served on the Health Care Council for the Ft Smith Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Directors for the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce and the Laser Safety Committee for the Arkansas State Medical Board. Dr. Sandy is active in the American Academy of Dermatology for which she has received a presidential citation.
Brad R. Johnson, MD, FAAD
Brad Johnson received his certification from the American Board of Dermatology in 2004. He specializes in Mohs micrographic skin cancer surgery and is a fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery. He graduated from Greenwood High School in 1991, completed a bachelorís degree in physics from Hendrix College in 1995, received his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in 2000, and finished his dermatology residency training at UAMS in 2004. Dr. Brad Johnson then pursued two years of additional skin cancer and skin surgery fellowship training at Affiliated Dermatology in Dublin, Ohio. He is happy to be serving his hometown community with his specialized dermatologic surgery training.
Dr. Brad has served on the Board of Directors for the Arkansas Foundation for skin cancer. He volunteers with dermatology training for residents at AHEC. Dr. Brad has organized and directed the Skin Care Nurses meeting for the past few years and serves on the Board of Directors for the Arkansas Foundation for Skin Cancer. He supports local youth sports in many ways. Dr. Brad also volunteers treating skin cancers for the underserved of our community as well as speaking to community organizations.
Honey Hill, PA-C
Honey Hill, PA-C graduated in 2011 from the University of Oklahoma-Tulsa Physician Assistant program with a Masters of Health Sciences. Honey served as secretary of her class. She completed her undergraduate degree at Rogers State University with a Bachelors of Science in medical/molecular biology. While attending RSU she was a member of Alpha Chi Honors Society. She is currently a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Arkansas Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Honey is originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma but has recently relocated to Arkansas and is enjoying the opportunity to spend more time with her extended family. Honey specializes in photodynamic therapy for the treatment of actinic keratosis. She is accepting appointments for all dermatologic conditions but excels in the treatment of acne, eczema, and psoriasis.
Nina Copeland, APN, FNP-C
Nina Copeland, APN, FNP-C graduated in 2011 from the University of Central Arkansas with a Masters of Science in Nursing. Nina was named Graduate Student of the Year 2011. She completed her undergraduate degree in 2006 at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. While attending the U of A she was a member of Sigma Theta Tau International. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is currently a member of the Dermatology Nurses Association. Nina is originally from Fayetteville, Arkansas but has been living in Fort Smith for the past six years and enjoys serving the River Valley Community. She is accepting appointments for all dermatologic conditions but excels in the treatment of acne, eczema, and psoriasis.
Amy Hudson, MD
Amy Hudson joins Johnson Dermatology following 14 years of practice in both general pathology and dermatopathology with Pathology Laboratories of Arkansas. Dr. Amy provided pathology coverage at Conway Regional Medical Center for 13 of these years, where she served as the Medical Director for the Clinical Laboratory and was an active member of numerous hospital committees, including the Medical Executive Committee, Performance Improvement Committee, and presented the pathology findings monthly at the hospitalís multispecialty Cancer Conference. Additionally, she served as the Medical Director of the laboratory for Conway Medical Group, a primary care clinic.
Dr. Amy completed a fellowship in dermatopathology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) with Dr. Bruce Smoller and Dr. Thomas Horn as mentors and was awarded subspecialty certification in Dermatopathology jointly by The American Board of Pathology and The American Board of Dermatology in 1999. Her residency training in Anatomic Pathology (AP) and Clinical Pathology (CP) were also completed at UAMS, and she is board certified in both AP and CP. Prior to residency and fellowship training, Dr. Amy graduated cum laude from the University of Mississippi Medical School and completed undergraduate education at the University of Southern Mississippi, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree as a chemistry major with a minor in music.
Dr. Amy is very excited to be a member of the team at Johnson Dermatology where she can focus on her favorite area of pathology. She maintains her enthusiasm and knowledge in the field through her interaction with the staff and patients at Johnson Dermatology, as well as her involvement as Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
Tanya Robberson APN, FNP-C
Tanya Robberson APN, FNP-C graduated in December 2012 from the University of Alabama Birmingham with a Masters of Science in Nursing. She completed her undergraduate in 2010 at Oklahoma Wesleyan University with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She is currently a member of Sigma Theta Tau and the Dermatology Nurses Associations. She is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is also a member of the AANP. Tanya has more than 15 years of experience working at Mercy Hospital in both the Emergency Department as well as the Intensive Care Unit. She is happy to use her skills to help people with their skin issues at Johnson Dermatology. She was born and raised in Ozark, Arkansas and is excited to be serving the River Valley Community where she lives and works.
